Berriewood Farm is a family run business located on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm has been in the family for several generations and has evolved from a working farm, wartime airfield into a bustling centre of equine activity and solar farm. We have a friendly community of livery clients and host a wide range of events and activities including dressage, showjumping, cross country and camps, dog training and weddings. Berriewood is a haven for meadow wildlife, butterflies, birds including buzzards, hares and many other species. We are eco-friendly with over thirty acres of solar panels and over 20 acres of woodland.
I came to horse ownership later in life, so having such a knowledgeable, friendly, professional team around, with great facilities, has always given me confidence that my horse is in the best place. After nearly 20 years at Berriewood, my opinion hasn't changed, thank you all.

As a 'DIY' livery at Berriewood for the past 11 years I couldn't be happier. Penny and her staff are always willing to help with advice or 'jobs'; the facilities are great for all-year riding; and importantly it's a friendly yard where it's good to spend time. When I'm not there I know that someone has an eye on Her Ladyship so I'm confident she is OK. Thanks a lot Berriewood.

Berriewood is a great place to keep your horse; they have everything you need from stabling to winter and summer paddocks to indoor and outdoor arenas. There is a great range of facilities with plenty of off-road hacking and the use of the cross-country course. There are regular training clinics and competitions and ease of access to all the professional services you might need. Berriewood is a very friendly place with helpful, knowledgeable and caring staff who provide the very best support and care for all the horses on the site.

I love it here at Berriewood! In the summer I have a lovely big field of lush green grass, which I share with my friend Billie. In the winter I have my own cosy stable. The housekeeping team do a great job of cleaning up after me each day and making sure I have plenty to eat and drink. They also keep an eye on me to make sure I’m suitably dressed with the right rug for the day. A lovely farrier comes regularly to make sure I always have nice new shoes to wear. There’s lots to do here including jumping, dressage or just hacking out. If it is wet I can play in the indoor arena. I have my own personal trainers visit me regularly as well as my chiropractor, physio and vet.

Great range of facilities at Berriewood including an outdoor sand arena 20m x 60m as well as 20m x 40m indoor. The show jump course on the outdoor sand arena as well as on grass (weather permitting) caters for horses and riders of varying experience. The outstanding cross country course caters for all abilities with a mini course available separately that is perfect for beginners. With a disused airfield on location this gives a great opportunity for warm up/cooldown hacking or a stretch of legs during a camp. The stables are of an excellent size and with the additional availability of the RDA room makes Berriewood a great choice for a camp. A super venue with outstanding customer service from all of the staff.

A fantastic location, with easy parking. We enjoyed a lovely farm ride through wooded areas and through the big open fields with access to the water for a splash around.
