Dog Exercise

We love dogs, as well as horses at Berriewood, and recognise that it is important for dog owners to be able to have a private space to let their dogs off the lead. 

We offer several areas for dog exercise at Berriewood, including enclosed grass areas and an indoor school. 

These areas provide a perfect environment to let dogs off leads with peace of mind, for recall/training practice in a safe space and to allow gentle introductions between dogs.

Exercise Field Features

Size And Fencing:

The exercise field is between 1-2 acres in size. It is enclosed by a fence which is between 5 and 6 foot high. 

Access:

The field is off road and there is an option to drive into the field and close the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) out.

Layout:

There are a number of small obstacles in the field for your dog to sniff and jump if they wish. There are 2 small banks which are excellent for scent and search play. 

Other Amenities:

There is a bench available for you to sit on if you wish and water available in a container for your dog.

Indoor School Features

The indoor school is an enclosed arena which is 20m x 40m in size, the surface is sand-fibre composite and is typically used for equestrian activity.

Dog Professionals

Dog professionals use our enclosed grass areas and indoor school facilities for classes and dog walking. If you are interested in hiring the space to run classes or walk dogs professionally then please get in touch by email.
